May 1st is coming – Call for actions<\/p>\n
Get out your portable radios, pull out your speakers, dust off your old walkman, or get a mobile sound system for the streets, because:<\/p>\n
Coview.Cat call: Out on May 1st – visible and loud!<\/p>\n
Despite the prohibitions and restrictions that exist in many places around the world, we will go out into the public space, as is fitting for May 1st. And we call upon you to do the same! The safety and health of everyone involved are very important to us. Pay attention to the safety distance, live your actions, and social contacts in a way that you do not endanger others. Not because it is the government’s requirement, but because it is about consideration and solidarity with risk groups. Take care of yourself and your surroundings!<\/p>\n
So it is important that we are loud and visible despite the safety distance. Take your protest into the public space. Show publicly that we do not agree with a policy that leaves those most affected by the crisis behind. Show that we do not simply stand by and watch the economy and politics revive the broken patriarchal capitalist system. Show that we do not accept a surveillance state, that we leave no one behind, that we are in solidarity!<\/p>\n
For the 1st of May this means:
\nWe walk through our cities and towns with signs, carrying speakers through the streets, placing them on our windowsills. We take a political bicycle ride, hang banners from our windows, into the public space. We make empty space and resources available to others. We paint, shout, dance, sing. We refer to other actions, we thematize precarious and atypical or undocumented work relationships, unemployment, labor struggles, struggles around housing. We are visible, loud when necessary, and in solidarity!<\/p>\n
We use connecting hashtags: #LeaveNoOneBehind #mayday #coview #precarity<\/p>\n
And why the radios?
\nOur action is transnational. Three independent radios produce a joint program, in English, for May 1st. We use this broadcast as an opportunity to bring the content into the public space.<\/p>\n

The radio show is to be heard everywhere. Everywhere where people spend May 1st politically, whether in the park, participating in an action, or in their own shared flat – we call on people to turn on their radios and speakers and give space to critical voices. Let us make them heard and resist the anti-democratic developments!<\/p>\n
Make space for your message – bringing political issues into the public space remains important! No emergency measures should be allowed to prevent this! Only if many acts in solidarity can we prevent a massive erosion of fundamental rights!<\/p>\n
Therefore: Organize, think about how and where you can get involved on May 1st!<\/p>\n

The safety and health of all participants are very important to us. Take care of yourself and your surroundings! It’s not about ignoring the dangers of the virus, but about pointing out the dangers that people are always exposed to, and since the outbreak of the virus even more so.<\/p>\n

Der 1. Mai kommt – Aufruf zu Aktionen<\/p>\n
Holt eure Kofferradios heraus, z\u00fcckt eure Boxen, staubt den alten Walkman ab oder holt euch ein mobiles Sound-System f\u00fcr die Stra\u00dfe, denn:<\/p>\n
Coview.Cat ruft auf: Heraus zum 1. Mai \u2013 sichtbar und laut!<\/p>\n
Trotz der Verbote und Einschr\u00e4nkungen, die es an vielen Orten dieser Welt gibt, werden wir in den \u00f6ffentlichen Raum gehen, wie es sich f\u00fcr den 1.Mai geh\u00f6rt. Und wir rufen auf, dasselbe zu tun! Dabei ist uns die Sicherheit und Gesundheit aller Beteiligten sehr wichtig. Achtet auf den Sicherheitsabstand, lebt eure Aktionen uns sozialen Kontakte so, das ihr nicht andere gef\u00e4hrdetet. Nicht weil es die Vorgabe der Regierung ist, sondern weil es um eine R\u00fccksichtnahme und Solidarit\u00e4t mit Risikogruppen geht. Achtet auf euch und eure Umgebung!<\/p>\n
Umso wichtiger ist es jetzt, dass wir trotz des Sicherheitsabstands laut und sichtbar sind. Tragt euren Protest in den \u00f6ffentlichen Raum. Zeigt \u00f6ffentlich, dass wir mit einer Politik, die jene zur\u00fccklasst, die am st\u00e4rksten von der Krise betroffen sind, nicht einverstanden sind. Zeigt, dass wir nicht einfach zuschauen, wie Wirtschaft und Politik das kaputte patriarchale kapitalistische System wieder hochfahren. Zeigt, dass wir keinen \u00dcberwachungsstaat akzeptieren, dass wir keine Menschen zur\u00fccklassen, dass wir solidarisch sind!<\/p>\n
F\u00fcr den 1.Mai hei\u00dft das:
\nWir gehen mit Schildern durch unsere St\u00e4dte und Gemeinden, tragen Boxen durch die Stra\u00dfe, platzieren sie auf unseren Festerbrettern. Wir machen einen politischen Fahrradausflug, h\u00e4ngen Banner aus unseren Fenstern, in den \u00f6ffentlichen Raum. Wir stellen leerstehenden Raum und Ressourcen f\u00fcr andere zur Verf\u00fcgung. Wir malen, rufen, tanzen singen. Wir beziehen uns auf andere Aktionen, wir thematisieren prek\u00e4re und atypische oder undokumentierte Arbeitsverh\u00e4ltnisse, Arbeitslosigkeit, Arbeitsk\u00e4mpfe, K\u00e4mpfe rund um Wohnraum. Wir sind sichtbar, bei Bedarf laut, und solidarisch!<\/p>\n
Dabei nutzen wir verbindende Hashtags: #LeaveNoOneBehind #mayday #coview #precarity<\/p>\n
Und warum die Radios?
\nUnsere Aktion findet transnational statt. Drei freie Radios produzieren eine gemeinsame Sendung, in englischer Sprache, f\u00fcr den 1. Mai. Wir nehmen diese Sendung zum Anlass um den Inhalt in den \u00f6ffentlichen Raum zu tragen.<\/p>\n

Die Radioshow soll \u00fcberall zu h\u00f6ren sein. \u00dcberall, wo Menschen den 1. Mai politisch verbringen, ob gem\u00fctlich im Park, protestierend auf Aktion, oder in der eigenen WG \u2013 wir rufen auf, Radios und Boxen aufzudrehen und den kritischen Stimmen Raum zu geben. Machen wir sie h\u00f6rbar und trotzen den demokratiefeindlichen Entwicklungen!<\/p>\n
Nehmt euch Platz f\u00fcr eure Botschaft \u2013 Politisches in den \u00f6ffentlichen Raum zu bringen bleibt wichtig! Keine Notstandspolitik darf das verhindern! Nur wenn viele solidarisch handeln, k\u00f6nnen wir verhindern, dass Grundrechte massiv abgebaut werden!<\/p>\n
Deshalb: Organisiert euch, \u00fcberlegt, wie und wo ihr euch am 1.Mai einbringen k\u00f6nnt! Zus\u00e4tzliche Infos, Aktionsideen und mehr kommt in den n\u00e4chsten Tagen!<\/p>\n
Dabei ist uns die Sicherheit und Gesundheit aller Beteiligten sehr wichtig. Achtet auf euch und eure Umgebung! Es geht nicht darum Gefahren des Virus zu ignorieren, sondern jene Gefahren aufzuzeigen, denen Menschen immer, und seit ausbruch des Virus noch verst\u00e4rkt, ausgesetzt sind.<\/p>\n
